i'm begging you: stop applying on job boards. cold email founders instead. the exact play, with the data: 1. find 25 startups that raised a seed round 2 to 9 months ago. fresh money means hiring. under 2 months they're still scrambling. free sources: inc42 and entrackr funding trackers, wellfound's recently funded filter. 2. keep only the ones under 30 people. below 30, the founder still reads their own inbox. 3. pull 2 contacts per startup: the founder plus whoever runs the function you want. emailing more than one contact lifts replies 93%. 4. the email: 90 to 120 words. line 1 is about their raise or their product, not you. subject 36 to 50 characters (long subjects get 32.7% more replies). personalize the body (+32.7%). no resume attached. end with one question: 'what are you struggling to hire for right now?' 5. send wednesday morning, 9 to 11, their timezone. best day in the data. 6. follow up once on day 4. a single follow-up adds 65.8% more replies. once more on day 9, then stop forever. 7. the math: 25 startups x 2 contacts = 50 emails. average cold outreach converts 8.5%, that's 4 replies even done plainly. stack the multipliers and you're at 8 to 12 replies, 3 to 4 calls, 1 to 2 offers. 50 emails and one weekend to build the list. job boards put you in a queue. this puts you in a conversation.

In June, I promised my wife I wouldn’t do another startup and that promise lasted a total of 41 days 😅... I recently joined @LassieAI as CRO because small business is in my blood and I couldn't resist the opportunity to bring AI to main street.

Asking Claude to review your code is a slot machine. Every review finds brand new bugs. Review again: more. Review a tenth time: it still finds something. It never runs out of bugs to find... so how do you decide your code is actually done?

Be like @poteto 😎 > Grew up in Singapore with no CS background. > Taught herself design as a teen. > Studied finance at Monash. > First program was an Excel VBA macro. > Failed a startup. > Started blogging and tweeting while learning to code. > EmberConf organizers found her tweets. > Invited her to speak in 2015. > She was a nobody in Melbourne. > Shaking through her first talk. > That one talk changed everything. > Landed at DockYard. Moved to the US. > Another talk got her into Netflix. > Built studio tools. Became a tech lead. > Then an engineering manager. > Missed building. Went back to IC work. > Open-sourced hiring-without-whiteboards. > Dan Abramov invited her to React at Meta. > Imposter syndrome. Said yes anyway. > Six years on the @reactjs team. > Sole author of the React Compiler Beta post. > Co-author of React Compiler 1.0. > Burned out. Took time off. > Started building agent tools for herself. > Joined @cursor_ai in 2026. > Taught agents to verify their own work. > That became pstack. > Cursor got acquired into @SpaceXSI. > Rebuilt Grok Bot. > Now ships 2,000–2,500 PRs a month. > Went from 31K to 200K+ followers. > @elonmusk keeps reposting her. She didn’t start with a degree or confidence. She started by writing in public. Every major job came from people finding her posts. Now she’s building Grok Bot and still on the React Compiler core team. She is truly an inspiration. ✨✨

Our legal templates have now passed 3,100 stars on GitHub. Really incredible to see the response. We made them free because we wanted to give back to the startup community who have all been so supportive of us. We also knew founders need access to high-quality legal templates before they have the budget for a legal team. Just happy to see that it was helpful to so many of you.

Polsia is about to hit $25M run rate. Next stop: $100M ARR. And things keep accelerating: $0 → $1M in 12 weeks $1M → $10M in 10 weeks $10M → $20M in 6 weeks I just published one of my favorite and most successful aisloP episodes yet: “The Run Rate.” I tell the whole story, from idea to $20M, month by month. The episode ends in Tokyo, where I went a few weeks ago. Probably the best place on Earth to take a deep breath, get inspired, and rethink what’s possible. I came back with an even bolder vision for Polsia. The road from $25M to $100M is going to look very different. Polsia v2 is coming soon.

We’ve raised a $10M Series A to automate video creation for every company. 1,000+ organizations like Atlassian, GitLab, Samsara, Legrand, and Zendesk use @clueso to automate their videos for marketing, customer education, and employee training. The struggle of video creation in companies is so real, that Netflix made a documentary about it

I’m the CEO of Product Hunt and see 100s of launches a week. My current thoughts on new infra begging for startups: 1) Voice AI - infra for voice agents is getting really good w @pipecat_ai @Vapi_AI @DeepgramAI @ElevenLabs et al. and yet I rarely see good voice tech in the real world. 2) Decision Models - Jev / @typesafeai leading the charge. It reminds me of the mech-building in Zelda TOTK - an explosion of possibilities! 3) Personal Agents - they work now. And they need tools, apps, MCPs. 4) Extensions (OpenAI). We all live in agentic interfaces now. It’s like a new platform. Someone needs to build a Slack replacement that lives in Codex, for example.

Questions
How is a hook measured?
Every measured post in the niche from the last 30 days is labelled by its hook and format. Each hook shows the median of its posts' views against their author's own usual views, so a hook that usually works ranks above one that won big once.
What does 2.4× their normal mean?
The typical post with that hook got 2.4 times its author's usual views. 1× is a normal post.
Can I copy these posts?
Take the pattern, never the words. HookPlaybook writes your own version of a post's pattern in your voice, and drops any draft too close to the original.
Is it free?
Yes, no sign-up. Signed in, the dashboard's hook library also shows accounts your size and every niche you follow.
