Anyone else impacted by a checkout page hack ? for 10 min all visitors of a client website got redirected to checkout-guard.top/check-out/ (FAKE CHECKOUT). But then it disappeared. I suspect an app has been hacked, fixed it and just stayed silent about it. Any one else ?

I just found out today about a cloned Shopify checkout page that's suggested by the @shop app, where customers get scammed. A lot of the Shopify apps are getting delisted, like Aftersell, Selleasy, and Hulk. 100+ apps delisted. Also, in Katcher.ai, based on evidence, we see those stores open their gates for a maximum of 1 hour, or even minutes, like in this case. We need to protect our merchants' customers first. Just had a thought, there's a chance of a massive scam to happen by Shopify apps. There are 1,000 apps listed with a only free plan this month, and the scam will happen on Black Friday! Right now they can farm merchants, and on Black Friday they redirect their customers to a scam checkout page from Shopify merchant storefront. Similar to the @shop app flow

No automation rule should go live without a dry run. In Tickwell, a rule for Shopify payout fees replays the last 30 days first and posts nothing. 42 payouts: 39 would post on their own, 3 would go to a person. Each of the 3 says why. Fees over $1,000. A gap nobody explained. A refund that is not listed. Only then do you switch the rule on. What would you need to see in a dry run before you trusted a rule with your books?
