These terms govern your use of HookPlaybook (the "Service"), provided by HookPlaybook ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
1. Your account
You need an account to use most of the Service. Keep access to your email address and Google account secure: anyone who can read your sign-in codes can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens in your account, and you must be at least 16 years old.
2. Plans, payment and taxes
The Service has a free plan and paid plans, described in the pricing section of our home page. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle handles payments, invoices, sales tax and VAT, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not charged again. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice.
3. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, through the Service;
- send spam, malware or harmful content, or use the Service to harass anyone;
- try to access other customers' data, probe or overload our systems, or get around limits or security measures;
- resell or share the Service outside your plan, or scrape or copy it to build a competing product.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, with notice where we reasonably can.
5. Your content
What you put into the Service stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store, process and show it to provide the Service to you, and nothing more. You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload.
6. AI-generated output
Parts of the Service may use AI models to produce text or other output. Output can be wrong or incomplete, and similar output may be produced for other users. Review it before you rely on or publish it.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or retire features; if we retire the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid period not used.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time from Settings in your dashboard. We may end these terms if you break them. Sections 5, 8 and 10 survive.
10. Law and changes to these terms
We may update them; for a material change we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Questions: hello@hookplaybook.com.
